Kembara Istanbul - Hari Pertama

Perjalanan dari Barking bermula seawal jam 6 pagi. Destinasi: London Heathrow Airport. Actually this was the first time to Heathrow- apart from our first arrival in the UK last september. Sampai Heathrow dah pukul 8 pg, selepas light breakfast kat airport, terus boarding.

Took the 9.35am British Airways flight to IST. It was a 4-hour journey, and we were served with breakfast in the flight. Luckily dah request siap2 for Moslem meal, so dapatla some heavy halal English breakfast in the flight! :D

Sampai Attarturk International Airport dah pukul 3.30 pm - local time. Time difference is 2 hrs earlier than London. so in total, we all dah lost 6 hours: 4 hrs journey+2hrs time difference! Luckily boleh pass imigresen dengan mudah sekali, even takyah pakai visa & isi apa2 borang pon!

Kat airport dah ada shuttle menunggu (dah book siap2).. Next destination: Ipek Palas Hotel kat area Sultanahmet (or also known as Old Istanbul).

Sampai hotel dah pukul 5ptg, lepas check-in terus kitorg kuar! Tak sabar nak tgk Istanbul punya pasal!! hehehehe Hotel nih agak strategik, semua tempat tourist attractions within walking distance jer. Kedai makan, kedai souvenirs pon banyak sekitar hotel.. puas hati gak la duk sini!

Tak pusing jauh pun, sebabnya hari dah malam- eventhough baru kul 6ptg.. pusing2 sekitar hotel, sambil2 cari dinner.. tp sempat jugakla rasa makanan diorg nih; 'fish bread'- pelik btui la, diorg makan roti ngan isi ikan goreng pastuh letak salad! makan tak habis, kitorg makan ikan jer..hehehhe on the way balik hotel pekena McD lagi sedappp! :D
