Ni cerita pakcik saya.. He was once a graphic designer, been in advertising business and several other businesses until he found his dream job! Congrats on your first solo arts exhibition, Ayah Mad! :-)
Special life moments etched in acrylic
KUALA LUMPUR: He was only five when he first started sketching. And his first few sketches were of former prime ministers, the late Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Al-Haj and Tun Abdul Razak Hussein.
Prior to becoming a full-time artist, he was with TV3 as its head of design, dealing with production designs.
"There are no differences between canvas and screen because the line of work is still the same. It is all about creativity and art but in a different scope."
Yesterday, the 53-year-old launched his first solo exhibition titled "Moments" at Balai Berita gallery of the New Straits Times Press, Bangsar.
"Everything that God created has its own significance.
"It is also one of the reasons why I relate the connection between humans and other elements of life in my work."
The exhibition on paintings depicting moments in life in acrylic ends on May 29.

Moral of the story:
Money is not everything.. (ye ke?? :P) The most important thing is job satisfaction- especially when money is not your first priority.. hopefully I'll get the chance to do my dream job one day.. ~and of course, its nothing to do with human teeth, mouth mirrors and dental chairs!! :D
